Tachiz Travel Costa Rica (tachiztravel.com) is an inbound, local, very dedicated and resilient Travel Agency. This Destination Management Company is the result of the brothers Alex and Francisco Herrera´s work of a Lifetime. They were foreign exchange students in the State of Oregon during the mid- 80’s. Both of them hold college degrees in Business Administration. Since their return to Costa Rica, they were very fortunate to work for the Godfather of Ecotourism. Ever since, they have been consistently advising and hosting highly discerning, high end sophisticated international travelers with tailor-made, unique, safe, fun and mutually nourishing Adventures of a Lifetime for the visitor and for the visited. They worked in all capacities in the best-known travel and specialty coffee companies. They conducted and successfully implemented reengineering processes for several of them including the most expensive and also the largest at their times. During the very peak season of 1999, they successfully hosted a group of 1200 guests with 12 different simultaneous flip flop itineraries.
