At Toucan Rescue Ranch, we practice and believe in responsible tourism and education. Raising awareness and providing an experience in an appropriate manner. We have responsible practices, as well as a team committed to raising awareness, making a problem visible, and educating visitors in the most ethical way possible. We deeply believe in the conservation of species and their spaces, therefore, we directly impact several of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Toucan Rescue Ranch emphases on the care, rehabilitation, and release of national wildlife. We receive and care for confiscated, sick, and injured animals from government agencies. To rehabilitate and release injured wildlife back to its’ natural environment. We provide educational programs, research sites, and facilities across Costa Rica. Also, volunteer opportunities for national and international individuals.
